April Birthday Girl!

Let's be honest...it kinda stinks to have your birthday be 10 days after a new baby is born...
Luckily, Grandma Lisa made up for it by buying ridiculous amounts of presents! Good grief!

 We blew up some balloons and left them strewn about the living room floor, the night before Maliya's birthday, so they would be there when she woke up. As soon as she came in our room, her birthday morning, we sang to her (which she loved!). Then I told her that she got to pick what we had for breakfast. She asked for cereal. Ummm, done and done! After breakfast and getting ready for the day, she got to open her presents. Grandma Lisa and Grandpa Scott had been staying with us and helping out, so they got to be there for the big event. They had to leave, later that morning, tho. :(  Thus started the grandparent withdrawals and the total melt downs by all children.
That night, we had a small family party, which involved cake, ice cream and a little dance party before bed.

Happy Birthday, Maliya! I can't believe you are getting so big!
