KT

Katie is 22 months old. She is still my smiley-est baby. She loves to say "cheese" for the camera, or pretend she is taking pictures of us and tell us to say "cheese."

She is as happy as can be...
Until she decides that she is not:
And you will know when she decides that she is not happy:
Words important enough for her to learn to say? "Treat"

"Shoe"

She steals everyone's shoes, but most often Rachel's. She LOVES Rachel's flip flops and does an incredible job and keeping them on. If she sees Rachel wearing her own flip flops, Katie will go crazy and try to rip them from Rachel's feet! Poor Rachel. Katie went to sleep wearing on of Rachel's green flip flops last night. A couple hours later when I checked on her, it was still on her foot.

"Baby"
She loves babies SO much! She plays with dolls a LOT and will get right down in their faces with the biggest most shining smile I've ever seen and pretend to talk to them. She will often look at them and say "Poopy? Poopy?" While nodding her head. Then she runs in her room to find a diaper for them. She kisses them and rubs their heads and often insists that we also kiss them and nuzzle them. Her dolls just make her so happy.
"Kiki" (or 'Kitty'), and "doggy," she LOOOVES to see animals and will chase them down as long and far as she is able, but ESPECIALLY if it is a kitty or a bird!

Katie can also say "drink," "juice," "hi," "boo!" "bye" and she calls Maliya "Bia." We have recently taught her to sign "please," and "more."

She LOOVES phones!

She likes to sit on the counter while I work in the kitchen.

She loves to play with Rachel, when Rachel is willing to put up with such things. She loves blocks, legos and strollers. If she gets tired and cranky, sometimes she will go hide in a corner somewhere and go to sleep!

And most recently, she has insisted on learning to ride a scooter. She gets absolutely irate if someone tries to take the scooter away from her when she is trying to ride it.

Katie is just a sweet, fun, adorable, funny little girl who is NOT to be messed with!
