Katie turns ONE???

For Katie's Birthday, we did Costco's chocolate donuts, instead of cake. It was just us, and it was nice. The donuts were a hit!

Then, just a few presents:

I can't believe it has been a year since this little lady made her first appearance. We all sure love this girl. She is such a happy little thing and definitely a "go and do" kinda gal. She doesn't care if it's past her nap time or past meal time, if it means we get to be out and about! She is totally good with strangers holding her, as long as she can't see her mom, anywhere around. She also LOVES her dad, and her favorite thing ever is if she is being held by her mom, while still being close enough to reach out and cuddle with her dad.

Katie says "Mama" and "Dada" and has been known to whip out an occasional "Ball". Maliya likes to play "fetch" with Katie, and will throw a ball, then race Katie to get it. Of course, Maliya always beats Katie to the ball, and then she throws it again, so Katie has to continue crawling after it. Katie, actually, loves this game! (Most of the time)

When Katie wakes up in the morning or fro her naps, she normally starts out just quietly talking to herself. She then stinks up her diaper. Once that is done, she will stand up, throw her binkis at the door and start yelling "YAH-YAH-YAH!!!" This is, apparently, her way of letting me know she is ready to get up.

We love this sweet, happy, fun girl!
