Hayden and I hang out in the guest room with Katie, every morning, while she works on her preschool. Hayden was entertaining himself, one morning, by trying to hop around in this laundry bag. Like a sack race...
The girls love to lead the music for Family Home Evening.
We went to singing time at Thanksgiving Point with our friends, the Harpers, one day.
The kids were LOVING the magic trick room, afterward!
And, of course, Hayden found a puppy that he loved in the Vet room.
We've been trying to convince Hayden go play out in the snow all winter. But he hated it. He hated snow clothes, he hated the snow itself...See how offended he was that I put boots on him?
and then one day, he just went tromping around as happy as could be!
I saw neighbor kids jumping off our big, snow, fort wall. At one point, the snow drifts in our back yard were so deep that I caught some neighbor kids doing belly flops off our play set!
Katie took my phone and caught me busting one of her sisters. I'm not sure who was in trouble, but I'm sure they got a serious talking to.
She also caught Maliya on the computer. Maliya has been loving the new online reading program that her school is doing: Imagine Learning.
I took the girls to the Chinese New Year celebration, at the school. They got to learn how to do ribbon dancing. Pretty fun!
Another fun morning of waiting for Katie to do her school!
Sometimes Hayden likes to sit on a chair and watch Katie do her school...
Sometimes he likes to take over Katie's chair and not let her do her school...
Katie caught the progression of Hayden falling asleep in the car, one day.

Sometimes I forget to put Hayden down for a nap...so he just puts himself down...wherever he happens to be...
Maliya loves to be independent. Since she and Rachel started sharing a room downstairs, I gave them an alarm clock and Maliya loves that she is able to get herself up for school. She has a list of things that she knows she is supposed to complete before coming upstairs. She loves that she is able to turn off the alarm, reset it for the next day, and finish her list without being told. And so do I! She doesn't understand why Rachel doesn't hop on board with it.
Meanwhile, Rachel is basically dead to the world, when she first wakes up. She can barely get herself to sit up, let alone hop out of bed to make it. She rolls herself onto the ground where she flops her arm up to the drawers to try to find something to wear, while still laying on the floor. Sometimes when Rachel has a particularly hard time waking up, Maliya gets really mad at her.
One morning, I woke up to both girls crying because of a fight that broke out over Rachel not getting up and getting moving quickly enough. Katie got woken up by all of the yelling, too. She was not happy. For some reason, Maliya thought it would be fun to take a picture of grumpy-Katie. Let's just say, it didn't end well for anyone.
One of Katie's favorite things to do is go to Smith's. Why? I'm really not sure. But, this was a good find!
Hayden loves putting cars in a nice line.
Brian was going through a big stack of old magazines, one day. Hayden happened to be on the bed and LOVED what he found: CAR MAGAZINES! Best. Discovery. Ever!
We went to Shayna's wedding reception! So happy for her!
Had a family Valentine's Dinner Picnic...indoors!
Who doesn't love a man that will get down and clean up the wood floor? Even if he is in his suit pants? And shirtless?
Hansen/Myler Sunday Dinner!
Complete with a video chat with Grandpa and Grandma!
The weather turned GORGEOUS! We went on a walk, rode bikes on the driveway and enjoyed the sun. It was all fun and games until Katie locked us out of the house...It was a good thing it was so beautiful outside! We were content to hang out in the yard until Dad could drive home and let us in.
Maliya lost her two front teeth! And gave me a 'lovely smile' to show it off...
Back to the curiosity museum!
The girls have been making good use of their roller blades!
Stairs+mud+roller blades=yikes!
Rachel told me this is her favorite spot on the playset.
Topham Ladies!
Posing with their favorite stuffties...
Our little "Collector" brought home a number of shells and rocks, with her.
Maliya spent the entire time either in the water or being "buried in the sand"!
Katie mostly just played in the sand.
Rachel tried the 'being buried thing' too!
Mermaid tails, made of sand...
And, of course, we had to spend a little time at Disneyland!

Maliya was old enough to go on California Screamin', and LOVED it! Hayden LOVED the carousel!
The lady bug ride..(kind of like less intense tea cups).
Rachel saw this sign, and said that it meant we weren't supposed to go {then she stood up and did a little dance that involved her hands up in the air, some shaking of the hips, and a "WOO-HOO!"}
We really did only spend part of one day at Disneyland. Then the kids were BEGGING to go back to the beach! We got back to the beach with just about an hour of daylight for them to play, before it started getting dark, they started freezing, and we brought them home for dinner.
Saturday morning, we had breakfast with Grandma Lisa and Grandpa Scott, played in the park for a little bit, and then hit the road!
This is how our drive home looked, from the perspective of the kids:
It was a fun trip. I guess I must just like traveling. It was a lot of driving for that short amount of time, but I love spending the time together as a family. <3 p="">3>
He got mad when it didn't work out very well...
But still enjoyed just sitting in it!The girls love to lead the music for Family Home Evening.

When we make cookies, Hayden goes CRAZY! He CANNOT wait for them to be done!
Rachel thought it was hilarious that her fork went right through her french toast!Sometimes I forget to put Hayden down for a nap...so he just puts himself down...wherever he happens to be...

Hayden hates it when his fingernails get too long, so he will whine and stick his finger out for me to peel it off for him. When he sees how long mine are, he tries to return the favor. :)

Brian and his dad built me a sweet food rotation system! This baby can hold about 480 #10 cans!
We took a quick trip to visit Grandma Lisa in California! You KNOW the favorite part was the BEACH! All my little beach bums...
Hayden did NOT want anything to do with the beach. But we convinced him to sit on our laps in a beach chair for a while, and eventually he ventured out to play with Katie on the sand. He never went anywhere NEAR the water, and -you can see- he also never took off his socks and shoes :) But we were proud of him for venturing out and having fun!Our little "Collector" brought home a number of shells and rocks, with her.

The current 4D show is a promotion for Zootopial.
Rachel is finally tall enough to participate in one of Maliya's favorite rides: Goofy's Sky School. She loved it.
Katie was old enough to do bumper cars, this time! Yay! She was SO mad that she didn't get to do them, last time we were at Disneyland! And you can see the rest of us in the background!
