The Basement

We finally broke down and hired someone to do HVAC for us. They left behind this...duct. The girls loved crawling through it! Good times.

Before getting drywall in, we bought this massive water tank and put it in our mechanical room. We had to move a 2x4 to fit it in, so....it won't ever get to leave that room again! Before putting it in the house, the girls "helped" Brian clean it out. Brian climbed in and stood it around himself while he cleaned it with bleach. It was quite the escapade. 

Brian and I put some insulation in the rafters, for noise reduction.

And then came the sheetrock! We hired this out, as well.

Hayden loved helping scrape up some of the big splatters, left behind by the mudders.

Brian and his dad laid tile in the bathrooms and Brian laid the hard wood floor for the kitchenette.
