Hayden!

Getting another hair cut, at 9 months old...he looks pretty excited about it, huh? Alisha says he's just not happy about the photographic evidence of him sitting naked in a purple bumbo...(he really does have a diaper on, I promise).

Hayden does not pay ANY attention to soft/stuffed toys, but he LOVES balls and cars. He loves it when I throw a ball into his lap. He has even started to say "Bah-bah-bah!"

Playing on Dad's lap! From the time that Hayden was about 7 months old, he would say "Da-da-da," when he wanted to play and "Ma-ma-ma" when he was sad. :)

Hayden loves to knock these play chairs over and chew on the legs.

Hayden had been starting to do a little bum-scoot thing, and was showing no signs of trying to crawl. So I started trying to discourage the bum-scoot and force him to learn to crawl. He did not appreciate those exercises. But, on New Years Eve, at 9 months old, Hayden started to crawl! He is really getting around, now!

And into everything!

Hayden wants to eat solid food, but hates baby food and still only has 2 teeth...so that doesn't leave us with very many options...Hayden is one of my most outgoing babies, but he is definitely in that stage where he always wants to make sure I'm not leaving him!He likes to play a little more rough than his sisters did. He loves to get tickled (as all of our kids have), and he is content and smiley. He is so easy to put down for bedtimes, and often is able to sleep through a surprising amount of noise. He loves all of his sisters but definitely has a special bond with Katie. When he hears Katie cry, he will cry, too. Though he likes to play rough, he does not like loud yelling or screaming, those will also cause him to cry. He is such a fun boy, and we are so grateful to have him in our family!
