After watching Maliya do soccer, and then Jr Jazz, Rachel thought it might be fun to try HER hand at some basketball! So, she got to do Itty Bitty Basketball, this year!
She was on the "team" Phoenix Suns:
There was a lot of chasing down her ball...it mostly involved continuing to kick the ball further and further away. I couldn't tell if it was skillful soccer dribbling, or if she really couldn't catch her ball...
She did do some basketball dribbling, too...
And, occasionally, made it to the end so that she got to be the one hold up the red and green lights.
The obstacle course is always a winner!
Maliya had a hard time not being the one in all the action, this time. She went over to "help" Rachel.

And a visit from "Lenny the Lion," at the end of the 2 weeks! Katie, by the way, was absolutely TERRIFIED by this lion. She was clinging to me and shaking with fear!
I'm not sure basketball is the sport for Rachel, but it is always fun to try out new things! And she did a good job of sticking with it!
