Potty Training, Round 2

When we potty trained Maliya, we just did the basic version: Give her lots of liquids and make her go potty every 15 minutes. She basically would hold it as long as she could (not even going on the toilet), and then finally start wetting herself every 5 minutes for the rest of the day. Not a fun experience. At about day 3 it seemed to click and she did a lot better, but to this day I have to remind her (or threaten, as the case may be) to go to the bathroom everytime she starts suddenly walking like a duck.
This time around, we are taking it a little easier.
About a week and a half ago, I started potty training Rachel. We started first thing in the morning. She did pretty well. Made it in the potty twice but then wet once. After wetting herself, she decided this potty training thing was no fun, and went in her room and put a diaper on herself. :)
It was almost nap time, so I just said "eh, whatever." And she spent the rest of the day in her diaper. So, we have mostly just been potty training in the mornings, and letting her go back to diapers in once nap time comes around.

For the most part, she doesn't mind the potty training thing for these spurts and averages making it in the toilet twice and wetting once, each time. She does LOVE the opportunity for a good "you see my panties" joke, though! Once morning, she decided to take it a step further and put some extra panties on her head. Oh, she thought she was hilarious! And Maliya did, too. Maliya was not ABOUT to be left out of that action, either, and ran to get an extra set of her own!
